Dr. Ray is committed to her patients. If I had any other doctor, I would have ended up with a C-section due to their lack of patience. She helped me have the vaginal birth I wanted, and it was beautiful even in the hospital. She allowed me to have low lighting and music playing.
She coached me through all the pushing when most doctors don't show up until it's crowning time. She applies hot compresses to help prevent tearing and is always there for her patients. No more wondering who's on call.
Her fee is reasonable, and she is worth it. Don't hesitate to bring Dr. Ray onto your birth team. She will do her absolute best to help you have the birth of your dreams while keeping you and your baby healthy and safe.

I switched care to Dr. Ray when I was almost 34 weeks pregnant because as a first time mom, I was not comfortable with the idea of meeting the doctor for the first time during the birth of my child, which was a probable outcome with Sansum. I could not have been happier with my choice.
Dr Ray made me feel truly seen and heard and supported my decision to go for a gentle induction at 40 weeks. The induction went smoothly and my body naturally went into labor 12 hrs later. She checked in on me continuously and as soon as I reached 10cm dilation, she was there by my side to support me.
I ended up pushing for 3.5 hrs but developed a fever in the end and my baby's heart rate escalated which required a quick emergency c section. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Ray showed exceptional skill and compassion. Despite the unexpected c-section, her surgical expertise was flawless, and my recovery could not have been better.
Her postoperative visit the following day felt like therapy, ensuring both my physical and emotional well-being. I have had multiple nurses and PFPTs comment on how beautiful my scar looks. I highly recommend Dr. Ray for her dedication and exceptional care!

Dr. Ray was recommended to us through our friend and doula when we found out we were pregnant with our first baby. I was nervous in seeking out care because I knew I wanted a natural birth and have often experienced rather cold interactions with doctors in the past. From the start Dr. Ray was warm and welcoming. We felt supported and genuinely felt welcomed as friends rather than simply a doctor who would check in from time to time - which meant so much to us with something as special as pregnancy and delivery. We developed a relationship through the course of pregnancy which made me trust her so much and feel reassured. She also supported us in postpartum With at home visits and follow ups.
We really wanted a natural birth for our little one but I am high risk (I have epilepsy). Dr. Ray walked us through the process of how to have a natural birth in the hospital. With every appointment she gave us her full attention and time. She celebrated with us in our joy and listened to our concerns. She gave us alternative options when we were seeking them and helped guide us through difficult conversations.
She prepared us for all possible outcomes and helped us develop our birth plan while working closely with our doula as well. We had an amazing natural birth in the hospital. I was able to deliver exactly how I wanted to and I know we couldn’t have had such success without Dr. Ray. She’s amazing, kind, knowledgeable and I cant recommend her enough.

My only regret with obtaining care from Dr Ray is that I didn't do it sooner. She is a breath of fresh air. I felt heard, seen, and respected. I felt like I was hiring HER, versus other doctors who made me feel like they were the authority figure.
Her blend of deep knowledge with her ability to collaborate with her patients reminded me what's been missing in SB with pregnancy/delivery doctors. I felt safe with her, because she always painted me the entire picture, while recognizing I already had wishes and desires for birthing my baby.
